Daniel T Nicholson, IV is the Director of Public Safety for the Baltimore division of Executive Security & Intelligence Unit. Detective Nicholson is a proud product of the Baltimore City School system from elementary all the way through high school. Detective Nicholson did much of his growing up in the Park Heights area of Northwest Baltimore. Detective Nicholson takes pride in the fact that he is an alum of the prestigious Baltimore City College (c/o 1989). After high school, Detective Nicholson fulfilled a lifelong wish and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served in both Desert Shield and Desert Storm from 1990 until 1994. After being Honorably Discharged, Detective Nicholson joined the Baltimore Police Department in 1994 and worked in various capacities from uniformed patrol, special operations, and the criminal investigation division. The majority of his career was spent in the Homicide Section where he absolutely flourished. Detective Nicholson is in his 26th year with the Baltimore Police Department.
Detective Nicholson is a proud and dedicated small business owner; being the founder and sole proprietor of Rhythm Cuts Barbershop and Salon located in Southwest Baltimore. The barber shop is and has been a pillar of the community for over 20 years.
Detective Nicholson is married to his wife of 27 years, Nicole, and they have two children; Moriah 23 and Raquel 19.
