Charles Smith, Jr is the President of Executive Security & Intelligence Unit, LLC. Mr. Smith assumed the role of President in August 2020. Mr. Smith’s initial task as President is to expand Executive Security & Intelligence Unit into the Baltimore region.
Mr. Smith is a 1988 graduate of the historic Baltimore City College High School. Upon Graduating from City College, Mr. Smith attended Bowie State University on a Basketball Scholarship. He was ultimately recruited by Coach Will Jones, head coach at the University Of District of Columbia. Mr. Smith played for UDC as their starting Point Guard earning numerous awards and recognition’s. Mr. Smith completed his education with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science.
Mr. Smith is a former member of the World Famous Harlem Globetrotters. He was considered the “Curly Neal” of his day. He was a member of the Globetrotter organization from 1999 to 2004 as a player and advance ambassador.
Mr. Smith has successfully launched three businesses (A commercial cleaning company, a non-profit organization that serves youth and community, and another for profit company that focuses on managing potential professional athletes). Mr. Smith has over 20 years in corporate management. Mr. Smith is currently overseeing his $40M Development project in Baltimore, MD.
Mr. Smith married to his wife of 16 years Damali and they have three children; Ayanna 13, Charles “CJ” 11, and Layla 9
